About the Head Sheikh Umar Farooq Al-Badr

Sheikh Umar Farooq Al-Badr is a dedicated and well-qualified Islamic scholar and serves as the Head of Az-Zikr Online Islamic Institute. He completed Hifz-ul-Qur’an in 2006 from his ancestral village, which laid a strong foundation for his journey in Islamic knowledge.

He completed his formal Islamic education through Dars-e-Nizami from Mehntanwala, Depalpur, and later pursued a three-year Takhassus (specialization) from Markaz Al-Tarbiyah Al-Islamiyyah, Faisalabad. He also completed Daurah-e-Hadith under the supervision of Sheikh Abdullah Amjad Chhatvi (Rahimahullah).

Sheikh Umar Farooq Al-Badr has strong command over Hadith studies and possesses deep expertise in Arabic language and Arabic grammar, enabling students to understand classical Islamic texts with clarity and depth. Under his leadership, the institute focuses on authentic, structured, and Qur’an- and Sunnah-based education.

He is deeply committed to spreading authentic Islamic knowledge through online education and guiding students towards learning that leads to understanding and practice.
